The Art of Self Care

I don’t know about you, but its certainly taken me a long time to learn when to pull back and give back to myself. For most of us, it’s not something that comes easily or naturally. Women especially seem hardwired to giving to others before themselves, it’s a natural part of our maternal nature and who we are.

My own journey of finding balance has taught me I can’t give what I don’t have. Not listening to the warning signs, and pushing through left me feeling, tired, drained and at times even resentful.

Practicing the art of self-care, is something the team at Bhavana are supporting each other to embrace. Running any business, no matter how much you enjoy it, requires mindful management of your output and knowing when it is time to renew and replenish yourself.

We created a ‘Taste of Bhavana’ as the perfect opportunity for you to take some time out and enjoy a day of blissful indulgence. For us this is all about foraging, cooking, laughter, chatting and at the end of it all relaxing over lunch and a glass of wine.

Our unique paddock to plate experience allows you to escape the stressors of everyday life, switch off and immerse yourself in a restorative, nurturing and fun experience in the hinterland of Byron Bay.

Whether it’s taking time out for you, or enjoying a weekend escape with girlfriends, creating beautiful food, in an idyllic hinterland setting surrounded by nature is pure bliss.

Discovering the simple pleasure of cooking with fresh produce, harvested from our organic vegetable and herb garden, connecting us from the kitchen back to the land.

Allow your five senses to take you on a hands-on exploration into organic wholefoods, nutrition and cooking, and celebrating the best of the seasons harvest. You will love this experience offering the perfect balance of participation and just being!
