Byron Bay is located in the Northern Rivers region in NSW, just off the Pacific Highway, 800kms north of Sydney, 170kms south of Brisbane (about 90kms south of the Gold Coast). There are two airports in the vicinity with a train station and bus depot located in the centre of town.
Flying to Byron Bay
For those travelling from Sydney and Melbourne, the most direct route would be flying into Ballina Airport (30 minutes South of Byron Bay) via Virgin Australia or Jetstar Airways, the other option for coming to the region is via the The Gold Coast Airport which is located in Coolangatta QLD (45 mins North of Byron Bay).

Driving to Byron Bay
Byron Bay is about a 9-hour drive from Sydney and about 2-hour drive from Brisbane.

Bhavana is located in the Byron Bay hinterland approximately 15km, (15-20 minutes) from Byron Bay. Depending on how you got to Byron, you can come via rental car or taxi/uber.
